Hunting in Iran by Americans closed during November 2011.
THE RE-OPENING
The current season ends March 20, 2018, so interested hunters will need to apply through Shunneson & Wilson Adventures immediately in order to have time to hunt 1-2 species.
Through March 20, only 3 species are available for hunting: Kerman Sheep, Blandford Urial, and Persian Desert Ibex.
VISA INVITATION NUMBERS AND RIFLE PERMITS HAVE BEEN ISSUED
Through our outfitter, Esrafil Shafiezadeh, we have been able to obtain invitation numbers and rifle permits for 4 hunters including Ken Wilson. Three hunters will depart the U.S. February 27 and one will depart March 3. A U.S. hunter could depart as late as March 13 and still have a full 5 days to hunt one species (depart March 8 for two species).
